Roald Dahl was very particular when it came to his stationery. Whilst living in America he became very fond of Ticonderoga pencils and yellow legal paper, stationery staples in the USA. They formed an intrinsic part of his dedicated writing habit; so much so that when he returned to the UK he had them specially shipped over.
